Alfa Romeo 4C brakes are suited fine for normal driving and decent performing when upgraded with proper brake discs and capable brake pads, but as the levels of grip and power increase the overheating of the brakes becomes more and more of an issue, regardless of the brake discs and pads selection. To address this issue, we have designed brake cooling kit, to supply fresh air into the disc brakes and cool them.
 
The GMS brake cooling kit is designed to draw fresh air from underneath of the car and blow it into the center of the brake disc. At speed of 160 km/h, this system is capable of flowing up to 5.2 m³/min of air through the piping, providing all the cooling capacity your car will need under demanding conditions on the track. Such solution, provides optimal cooling performance and reduces the chance of disc warping due to uneven heat distribution and material expansion compared to the common brake cooling systems that are blowing the air only to the inner side of the brake disc surface only.
 
GMS Brake cooling kit provides maximum cooling efficiency that can be implemented to work with the 305mm x 28mm OEM size front discs. It features an AISi10Mg 3D SLM printed inlet and outlet scoops, silicon high temp resistant ducting, stainless steel mounting bracket and hardware. The weight of complete assembly comes at only 1160g (w/ brackets for OEM underbody) and only 930g (w/o brackets - can be directly mounted to GMS SLR carbon front splitter).
 
Standard kit is designed, to fit all OEM and aftermarket disc brakes with diameter of 305mm x 28mm. BBK kit is designed to fit GMS SLR BBK 330mm x 28mm disc brakes.
