Handling feel of Alfa Romeo Giulia is simply remarkable given the weight of the car, even in OEM format. The front end feels direct, responsive and masks relatively heavy weight of the car surprisingly well. Arguably, the FCA Giorgio (Giulia / Stelvio chassis platform) is one of the best feeling front engine, rear wheel driven platforms on the market. One thing it lacks though - front end grip.

Alfa Romeo Giulia has about 50% / 50% weight bias front / rear, while the Quadrifoglio version is due to a larger engine, a bit more nose heavy with approx 52 % / 48%. For optimal handling and balance, this would naturally call for a square setup. However, that's not the case with OEM car, especially Quadrifoglio which comes with a staggered setup of 245 front and 285 rear tires. While this setup looks good, in terms of handling, the chassis simply isn't performing at its best and is limited with front axle grip and balance. To address this issue, the car's front tire size should be closely matched to the rear tire size. Unfortunately, due to relatively small wheel arch gaps and clearance on OEM car, you can only upsize the front tire width from 245mm to 255mm before the rubbing issues occur. As a solution, we have developed the GMS adjustable front upper control arms.

GMS adjustable front upper control arms are precision CNC machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, deliver superior strength, ductility, and resilience, with a 37% torsional rigidity and 93% tensile strength over OEM components. Design is FEM optimized for weight saving without sacrificing the strength or durability.

Depending of the tire profile, wheel width, ET and diameter, the max front tire width on OEM narrow body, is now up to 295mm, 5 sizes up from OEM 245mm. With a square setup of 295/35/18, your Giulia will be level-up from OEM setup in terms of grip, handling and balance.

Front camber is now adjustable and ranges from –1°00’ to –4°00’. Fine-tuning your front geometry has never been easier. Simple adjustment system using various shim thickness, lets you dial in your setup in a matter of minutes, whether your goal is chasing lap times or refining street stance.

OEM control arms feature rubber bushings, while the GMS adjustable front upper control arms feature GMS uniballs, eliminating flex, providing binding free movement

Due to the use of high quality GMS ball joints and uniballs featuring ErtalyteTX self-lubricating sliding mediums, CrMo housing and stem in both - ball joints and uniballs and rubber sealed cosntruction, the control arms are maintenance-free and deliver long-term durability before needing a replacement. Yet, when time comes, thanks to the design of the control arms, both - ball joints and uniballs are replaceable and available as a spare part.

Designed as a 100% plug-and-play upgrade, installation is straightforward and requires no modifications.

Finished in incognito silver anodizing, these control arms don’t just perform, they look the part.

Compatible with front tires up to 295mm wide (depending on setup), they deliver unmatched handling precision, rigidity, and durability on both road and track.

Experience sharper turn-in, improved mid-corner grip, and consistent alignment even under extreme load. With GMS Adjustable front upper control arms, your Giulia will have significantly more front end grip, better balance and handling overall. It will respond exactly as you command, every time - precise and direct, with no more understeer.

GMS adjustable front upper control arms are aimed at users, looking for an aggressive street or track setup with front tire width beyond 255mm. For optimal handling, we recommend set of 18" wheels and a square setup of 275/40/18 front and rear tires. This setup provides very good thermal capacity due to large volume of air in the tires and very good damping due to higher sidewall profile of the tires. Depending of the ride height, tire choice, wheel specs (width, ET) and alginment, light rubbing might occur to the inner fender liners. As an alternative, slightly smaller in diameter and lightly staggered setup, with 265/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear tires, is a good choice.

For 19" wheels, a square setup of 295/30/19 front and rear tires are recommended. Alternative would be a slightly squared setup with 265/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear tires.

These are tested and confirmed to be well balanced setups, but there are also other combinations possible.
